Music Box Students Showcase Their Skills on Social Media, Inspiring New Generations of Rock Stars

Voice Lessons at The Music Box

Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok all have billion of active users. Children and teens no longer need to spend weeks preparing to shoot a 5-second video of a chord they learned in music school – now they can instantly show the world what music lessons are helping them achieve.

From cute mistakes made by immediate newcomers to virtuosic performances of bright, young talents, social media platforms are overflowing with clips and shorts youngsters are making, whether it be cover song attempts, simple chords, or verses of trendy songs.

At The Music Box, we are full of joy and pride to see our youngest students embrace modern digital technologies to include their parents, friends, and other children in their musical journeys.

    Breaking the Ice

While some children feel comfortable and natural when faced with the lens of a camera, many kids are shy to share or even document their progress on film. As more and more youngsters use social media to post what they’ve learned in music lessons and music schools, this shyness is slowly but surely melting apart.

Four, five, and six-year-old rockstars may have been a rare sight a few decades ago, but today, this is completely normal. Children are becoming increasingly aware that they are not the only ones interested in music lessons and instruments – even the shy ones now feel more confident to upload their covers, favorite licks, and chords, as well as original songs on platforms like YouTube and Facebook.

From Sloppy Fails to Perfection – Music Box Analyzes Video Posts With Students

Just like mistakes are the best teachers in life, they are helpful when it comes to playing and learning more about music too. Everyone makes them, even some of the most experienced professionals who know their instruments, songs, and gear like the back of their pocket. It is only natural for fresh students of music to make mistakes as well.

Although a degree of perfectionism exists in the world of rock & roll, music fans, producers, and players are well aware of the fact that the best music, even entire genres sprout out of simple mistakes in rehearsal rooms and studios. Just take a look at Led Zeppelin’s “Tangerine”, or “I’m Free” by The Rolling Stones.

Social media platforms are helping children and their parents understand that achieving perfection takes time in the world of music. With every clip our students take, they get to see the spaces where there’s room for improvement, as well as take pride in the parts they’ve executed masterfully.

Small victories and bumps in the road are what musical journeys are all about. By sharing films from their music lessons, young students are not only learning but they’re helping others learn and advance their knowledge as well.

Youngest R&R Fans Inspiring Others via Social Media Platforms

Each clip The Music Box students make has an impact on many others. While filming the lessons, our youngest students are showing parents of other children how they are experiencing the best music lessons in Carrollwood, Florida; the clips of our Open Mic Nights are showing kids the atmosphere their peers are creating while singing their little hearts out on stage.

As clips go viral, more and more children flock under the banner of rock and roll, discovering that they don’t need to wait for years and decades until they get a shot at creating music and playing with new friends.

Since we’re frequently hosting live shows across Florida where our students play to real R&R audiences, The Music Box strives to constantly inspire other children to pick up an instrument, pick up on rock and roll, and have the most awesome childhood possible.

Transparency, So That Parents Know What to Expect

You’ll read reviews of online music lessons and platforms, and you probably won’t feel completely secure sending your child to someone you have never seen or met. That’s a perfectly normal response, as anyone can order a couple of reviews in a matter of minutes.

We’re not filming what goes on at The Music Box, but we do encourage our students to show the world what they’re made of by uploading clips and posts on social media platforms.

The state of joy kids experience while rocking out can’t be faked; the progress young rock stars are making is indisputable. We’re more than happy that our trainees are using social media to showcase their talents but more importantly, show the world that they are having a good time.

Giving Young Talents the Exposure They Need

With more than half of the world’s population being active on social media, young musicians will never have to go through the arduous process of playing countless gigs in poor conditions for a sandwich and pocket money before they make a name for themselves.

By posting what they’ve learned at The Music Box online, our students are already making waves in the music industry and are widely beloved among music communities across all four compass points.

We’re here to teach them how to play, understand music theory, be in a band, and enjoy an R&R lifestyle. The kids are already playing at the largest venue on the globe – the internet. The people love it, and as the number of views and likes are ramping up, the confidence of the students is increasing tenfold.
